MISSION
InterTribal Entertainment (ITE) is a multimedia training and production initiative of Southern California Indian Center, Inc. (SCIC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which, since 1968, has been serving the urban American Indian population of Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties.
ITE's primary activities are:
- Providing workforce training and employment opportunities for Native Americans in the entertainment industry.
- Developing, producing and marketing film, television and multimedia projects which contribute to a greater understanding of the American Indian experience.

ITE's efforts are driven by SCIC Planner and ITE Director James Lujan (Taos Pueblo) who brings twenty years of experience in film production and training.
CURRENT PROJECTS
- The Creative Spirit Script-to-Screen Initiative to identify, train and promote beginning, emerging and established Native talent.
- A summer employment/training program for American Indian young adults (ages 18-24). View PSA. Go to the program's Facebook page.
- A partnership with the VSA Arts of New Mexico's North Fourth Art Center for replicating the Creative Spirit program in New Mexico as part of the Two Worlds Native Film and Theater program.
- A collaboration with FOX Diversity's American Indian Summer Institute.
- A collaboration with KCET-TV Los Angeles in the production of 2010 American Indian Heritage Month programming.
- Continuing development of feature film and television projects.
